Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ.

Step 2 seemed like a very long wait and it came without much hoopla but today we finally arrived at the final point of our countdown to Lily!  Yes, we have travel dates, and a consulate appointment, and TICKETS!!! 

We will be departing Dulles on Thursday, Dec. 15th, arrive in Beijing on Friday, then fly to Shaanxi, Lily's provence, on Monday morning, Dec. 19th to meet our Lily!

We couldn't be more thrilled and excited :)!  After so many years, months, and days of waiting we just can't believe it is actually about to happen.  God graciously answered our prayers by providing decently priced flights and working out the timing so that we will be home before Adam and Quinn need to return to Cedarville University in Ohio.  He so cares about every detail.  Roadblocks seem to appear before us, we bring them to Him in prayer, and he provides His best.  Emmanuel, God is with us.
